Tumbleweed Chromoly Pannier Rack V2

The Tumbleweed Pannier Rack is a versatile, reasonably lightweight, and tough rack designed to carry cargo in various ways. It features a generous platform size, two side support legs to stabilize a variety of pannier bags, and triple mounting points for water bottles or cargo cages. 

The Pannier Rack comes in 355mm and 380mm platform heights (center of lower eyelet to center of platform) tall, with a 120mm-wide by 310mm-long platform, and allows for generous tire clearance.

To determine which rack height you need, measure from your lower rack mount to the top of your tire, and add 25-50mm, but this is just a guideline. We recommend allowing yourself some mud clearance with the biggest tire that your frame will fit.

It doesn’t hurt to go with a taller rack either, we sometimes run taller racks to get the rack platform high enough to act as a saddle bag support on bigger bikes.

Requirements 

• The load on the rack platform must be centered over the rack, not overhanging or cantilevered off the end of the platform.
• You’ll need threaded load-bearing mounting points at the dropouts and seatstays or fork crown to properly mount our racks on your bike. 
• If you don't have upper rack bosses, seat clamps with integrated rack mounts are available. 
• If your steel fork doesn't have upper bosses, we sell a rack adaptor that attaches to the center hole of your fork crown (depending on the style of your fork).
