• Specialized 3.1 Motor: Unlike the older 2.2 motor, the 3.1 features all-steel gears with a diamond-like coating, eliminating the reliability issues of previous belts and significantly improving thermal stability.
• Torque & Power Boost: It delivers 101 Nm of torque and 666 W of peak power, a substantial increase over the 90 Nm / 565 W of the Gen 3.
• Refined Power Curve: The motor reaches peak power at 70 RPM and maintains it through 120 RPM, providing more predictable punch when pedalling through awkward, technical obstacles.
• Firmware Evolution: A recent February 2026 firmware update (version 3.1) can further boost output to 105 Nm of torque and 810 W of peak power. 

Innovative GENIE Suspension 

• Two-Stage Air Spring: The 

FOX FLOAT X Performance

 shock with GENIE technology uses an outer air sleeve for the first 70% of travel to mimic the plush, "bottomless" feel of a coil shock.

• Bottom-Out Resistance: At the 70% mark, the outer sleeve is cut off, radically increasing the spring rate for the final 30% of travel. This allows for 11% more usable travel for the same bump force compared to traditional air shocks.
